About the Event

January is the perfect moment to look forward with optimism as the days get lighter and brighter, with an attitude of gratitude and love in our hearts. In this workshop, you’ll be guided through zine-making and let loose to fill it with drawing, painting, collage, and/or Nicole's favourite medium (pom poms and googly eyes). Whether you're coming alone or bringing a friend, you will be welcomed into a supportive space where you can chat, create, and enjoy being at the museum. No judgement, no bad ideas, no prior experience necessary - just grab a ticket, turn up and get making!

Led by Nicole Marnell, this session is especially for young people who identify as LGBTQIA+, and provides a chance to connect in a safe space. Your zine could be about the things you’re looking forward to this year, a new skill you’re learning, a hobby, the things you’re grateful for in…
