Verses of Resistance - Pride Poetry & Illustration Workshop

Affirm your Pride and celebrate your voice in Comics Youth's Verses of Resistance! Verses of Resistance is a creative drop-in workshop where you'll craft personal, powerful messages that honour our community’s history of resistance and joy. This session is open to all ages and abilities, with space for families and individuals to explore what Pride means to them. Guided by Comics Youth's friendly facilitator, you’ll:

• Take part in warm-up writing and drawing activities to spark ideas

• Write your own short Pride poem or affirmation on colourful A4 card

• Decorate your words with illustration techniques—pens, fineliners, colour and style

• Share your creation if you choose, or keep it as a meaningful memento of the day
