About the Event
Interested in books and reading? A pop-up book club for Black History Month will read and discuss a number of books of celebrated queer black writers, with talks by two celebrated authors. In this week's session, guests will be joined by Dean Atta, author of The Black Flamingo, a YA story in verse about a boy embracing his identity as a mixed-race gay teen - then at university, his experiences as a drag artist . The first five attendees will also get free copies of Dean's book! Tickets for each session are free and can be booked online here or via the button.
