About the Event
Southport Bijou Cinema are presenting a week of screenings to celebrate Sefton Pride, and are continuing their week with Bound (1996), directorial debut of infamous queer twins, the Wachowski's. Violet, the mistress of gangster Caesar, begins a torrid love affair with ex-con Corky. For Violet to dump Caesar, they formulate a plan to rob millions of dollars of stashed mob cash whilst pinning the blame on him.
Accessibility
Southport Bijou Cinema is now fully accessible for all persons regardless of mobility status. The Bijou has two toilets on the ground floor, including a disabled bathroom. There is a small step to enter the building, though ramps are available at the entrance. The upstairs function area and gendered toilets are accessible by lift.
