About the Event

Every year, on the 1st of December, the world comes together to commemorate those loved and lost to HIV related illness and to celebrate the lives of those living with HIV today.  It is also a time to challenge the stigma that sadly still surrounds HIV which creates barriers to people living happy, healthy, fulfilling lives.
