About the Event
Led by Artist & BIRCH studio member Harry Garner, this exciting portrait drawing class will celebrate queer artists and their place in art history. This event includes a talk that discusses the lives, work and significance of several 18th & 19th century LGBTQIA+ artists - with many examples to be found in galleries across Liverpool! Following the talk, there will be a guided portrait drawing class, with a life model.
This class is £10 per person, which I assume can be paid on the door.
Access
BIRCH is accessed via 5 low steps up to the front door. The gallery is level footing throughout and well-lit (in the daylight with natural light and at night with overhead fluorescent lights. Chairs and stools are available to visitors if seating is needed. However, the bathrooms are only accessible down a flight of stairs, though there is a handrail for support. The bathrooms are private…
