This time they'll be screening a landmark of the New Queer Cinema genre, The Watermelon Woman (1996) - a smart and engaging work of fictionalized autobiography that follows a video store clerk (played by director Cheryl Dunye) who sets out to make a documentary about a Black actress of the 1930s always credited as “Watermelon Woman.”

Tickets are £5 and can be purchase online via the button or via this link here.
