Lovelocks Coffee Shop, 27 Old Haymarket, Liverpool L1 6ER, UK

About the Event

Join Spirit Level Trans and KoKoKollective for a series of LGBTQ+ film screenings at Lovelocks to celebrate Black History Month! The first screening is of Rafiki (2019), a queer coming-of-age Kenyan drama about two teenage girls falling in love, set in a country that criminalizes homosexuality. General admission tickets are £5, with free tickets available for registered Sahir members - you can get your ticket via the button or via this link.

Access

Lovelocks is a ground floor venue*, there are two gender neutral toilets, and one is accessible. The cafe will be serving only drinks & cakes at regular prices, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Be aware that the space can be quite loud and overwhelming to those with sensory issues, and Lovelocks sadly do not have a quiet area available to use. You are welcome to bring whatever aids or tools will help you - stim toys, ear plugs…
