About the Event
After last year's incredibly successful inaugural event, which hosted over 3000 attendees, Knowsley Pride is back! The main outdoor event will be hosted once again by Paul Doyle and the House of Suarez, who will be hosting an incredible line up of live entertainment, community stalls and family-friendly performances celebrating identity and inclusion. This year’s expanded programme has been made possible through funding from the Michael Causer Fund Small Grants Scheme, founded in memory of the Whiston teenager tragically murdered in a homophobic attack in 2008. Local community groups will be running inclusive projects across the week focusing on creativity, wellbeing and LGBTQIA+ visibility across the borough.
