About the Event
Instead of the usual Liverpool LGBTQ+ Wellbeing Group this week, the LGBT Foundation is running one of their infamous sober socials. Sober Socials provide a relaxed, pressure-free environment for LGBTQIA+ community members to meet new friends and make connections without the presence of alcohol. It’s the perfect way to ease into Pride weekend with a whole bunch of community and celebration.
There will be music, a complimentary free drink on the door, and creative activities to get involved with (like placard and badge making). There will also be a range of free resources available to attendees, including Pleasure Packs from the LGBT Foundation Sexual Health team, Harm Reduction Kits from the LGBT Foundation Recovery Team, free condoms and lube, and free at-home drug testing kits.
