About the Event
Black Girl Watching Film Club, in collaboration with Liverpool African Diaspora Film Network, will be screening Pariah (2011) on June 14th at Metal, Edge Hill Station. This black queer Sundance darling is about a Brooklyn teenager juggling conflicting identities and risking friendship, heartbreak and family in a desperate search for sexual expression. The film will be introduced by Paraphysis Cinema.
Accessibility
The Metal Culture building on Platform 1 and 2 has step-free access from the top of Tunnel Road, down the station approach. There is also step-free access via the Accumulator Tower. There is a disabled toilet available on the ground floor - however, step-free access is limited to the ground floor.
