About the Event

Join Queers With Gears for a special Sunday spent biking and birdwatching around the Garston Coastal Reserve. Bring along a packed lunch, plenty of water and of course your binoculars to spot any waders at the water's edge! To attend, make sure to join the group on Spond and let them know you'll be attending.

Bike Route

The group will start their route by the Sefton Park Obelisk and make their way to Otterspool Prom. It's a 10 mile round trip over easy terrain, with the route being a mix of quiet roads and off road terrain. The route works through; Trans Pennine Trail, Beechwood Road, Grassendale Road, Eastern Drive, Knowsley, Salisbury, Aigburth Drive, Garston Old Road, Church Road, King Street, Coastal Path, before arriving at Otterspool Prom and stopping by the Liverpool Sailing Club to eat lunch and birdwatch.
